Key Responsibilities

  • Support the care and development of children aged 05 years
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Assist with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff to maintain routines and structure
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times

Requirements

For Nursery Practitioners:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework

For Nursery Assistants:

  • A genuine interest in working with children
  • Previous experience in a childcare or nursery setting
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude
  • Basic understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)

For All Candidates:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
