Job Title: Locum Occupational Therapist - Moving & Handling Location: Cheshire Rate: £39.84 per hour Contract Type: Locum / Temporary
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist with expertise in moving and handling to join our team on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, delivering high-quality care while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct moving and handling assessments for patients/clients. Develop and implement safe handling plans tailored to individual needs. Provide training and guidance to staff, patients, and carers. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.Requirements:
Qualified Occupational Therapist (HCPC registered). Proven experience in moving and handling assessments and interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs.Benefits:
