Position: Ocean Import Coordinator
Location: Chelmsford
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 Plus Hybrid!!
Salary: Circa £32,000

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Import of Less than Container Loads (LCL) and Full Container Loads (FCL) shipments via sea freight. You must have a background in sea freight forwarding operations with a UK forwarder.

Your key responsibilities as Ocean Import Coordinator:

Complete start-to-finish import consignments via sea freight
Responsible for the day to day running of allocated LCL & FCL movements
Global imports
Create bookings from the origin
Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
Track and update shipment statues in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
Complete import customs entries via CDS
Ensure compliance with import regulations
Developing good working relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers and our other branches
Previous experience in quoting and operations of export ocean freight forwarding is essentialBenefits:
