We are currently seeking to recruit a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and warm communication style will be key to our success. Why this role matters You ll play a vital role behind the scenes, supporting the management team with administration, financial procedures, staff records, and more. You ll help ensure everything is in place so our carers and nurses can focus on delivering the highest quality of care to our residents. What we re looking for You have experience in an administrative role, ideally within a care setting or similar environment. You re confident with IT systems, organised in your approach, and always ready to lend a helping hand. But most importantly, you bring kindness, discretion, and professionalism to everything you do. Roles & Responsibilities Ensuring all calls are answered in a prompt and professional manner & transferred to the appropriate team member Managing incoming/outgoing mail Managing general e-mail inbox and ensuring e-mails are responded to in a timely manner. Processing wages and payroll Assistance with finance tasks such as administrating free care payments, processing sundries through the resident accounts, supplier invoices and payments. Following administrative controls Supporting the Care Home Manager with the recruitment process Ordering stationery and general office supplies Taking minutes for management meetings Typing up letters and reports Filing and archiving Utilising company social media and responding to queries Skills required At least 2 years admin experience (similar industry experience an advantage but not essential) Very organised and good time management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload Computer literacy and have a sound knowledge of Google Suite and Accounting Software Ability to use your own initiative and be proactive. High level of accuracy and attention to detail required Ability to work on own as well as part of a team What can we offer you?
