A really fantastic opportunity for a junior candidate has arisen, ideally suited to a graduate seeking their first role. This is an all hands on deck sort of job, where you will need to roll up your sleeves and muck-in across different areas of the business. You will be working for a real family business; boutique, friendly, and amazing offices, resembling a beautiful home.

The role is Office Assistant and you will be working closely with the lovely Office Manager, ensuring stationery and kitchen supplies are well stocked, meeting rooms in order and some welcoming and greeting of clients. You will also be shadowing the PA's, booking travel and some diary management for the Directors. You will be learning so many support and admin skills and there is huge opportunity to progress into  more senior position.

The right candidate will have an enthusiastic, helpful and sunny personality and needs to be happy being in the office 5 days a week.

\n\n

Duties may include:

\n\n

• Supporting all colleagues with general admin and light PA duties as required

\n\n

• Greeting visitors and meeting room set-up

\n\n

• Providing friendly and helpful point of contact for all staff on general office practice

\n\n

• Supporting Office Manager with day-to-day running of office, such as:

\n\n
    \n\t
  • \n\t

    Keeping office consumables well stocked: groceries, stationery, etc

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

     Helping to build and maintain good relationships with all suppliers

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Organising employee birthday cards and cake in the office

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Organising client birthday cards and gifts where necessary

    \n\t

\n\n

• Shadowing and supporting Admin team with varied tasks, such as:

\n\n

    -Booking and arranging travel for colleagues

\n\n

    -Scheduling of meetings

\n\n

    -Support with new starter process, including IT set-up and office show-round

\n\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\n\n

• Good verbal and written communication skills

\n\n

• Strong IT skills, efficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google

\n\n

• Good work ethic, with ‘can-do’ attitude

\n\n

• Enjoy being part of a team with a friendly, flexible and helpful personality

\n\n

• The ability to prioritise workload
