We are currently seeking an experienced Office / Finance Manager to join a well-established structural steel business. This is a key role within the company, supporting both the financial operations and day-to-day running of the office.

The Role

You will take ownership of finance administration while also supporting wider business operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly across the office and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Finance, Accounting & Commercial Support:

Manage day-to-day finance processes, including raising, processing, and tracking sales and purchase invoices

Oversee supplier payments, account reconciliations, and outstanding balances

Support payroll processes, including timesheets and expenses

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance

Manage purchase orders, cost tracking, and project-related financial admin

Business Operations & Office Support:

Support internal communications and company updates

Provide administrative support to leadership and the wider team

Help improve internal processes across finance, HR, and operations

About You

Proven experience within the construction industry (essential)

Background in an Office Manager, Finance, or Business Support role

Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliations, and finance processes

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

A personable and professional communicator who thrives in a team environment
