We are seeking an Office Manager / Deputy Manager to join our head office team in Great Dunmow on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday (in addition to out of hours on call when rostered paid separately in addition). Key Duties & Responsibilities To support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, and support functions of the service To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required to maintain practices To ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing The efficient and effective day-to-day management of the human resources involved in providing care through the staff team and ensuring that the required standards are maintained Ensuring all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date To ensure all staff at the service receive formal supervision and appraisals Oversee the duty rota monthly in advance ensuring the correct skills and numbers on duty Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service Develop effective working relationships with all employees within the service Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for people in the service Work within the relevant Code of Conduct xehkeey Required Skills Previous experience working in a careoffice setting at a supervisory level To drive and have your own car Microsoft Office proficient Ability to learn new IT systems Excellent attention to detail Excellent organisational skills Excellent communication skills The highest standards of work Reliable with an excellent work ethic Respect the individuality and confidentiality of the staff and clients Strong team player Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check Good standard of spoken and written English If you share our values and are seeking a new rewarding job with excellent rates of pay and career progression, then dont hesitate, apply to joinMaplewood Independent Living today!
