Children’s Registered Manager - Brand New Solo Home
Location: Finchley, London
Salary: £65,000–£75,000 base + performance-related KPIs ( up to £10,000)

About the Role
We are seeking a Children’s Registered Manager to take operational responsibility for a soon-to-open children’s home in the Finchley area. This role has become available as part of wider expansion plans.
The organisation has grown now operates five successful homes, with several more on track to open. You will step into a fully supported environment where registration, setup and pre-opening work is handled centrally— your focus will be on running a high-quality, compliant, stable home once it is registered and staffed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the children’s home, ensuring exceptional care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong Ofsted outcomes and confidently lead the home through inspections.
- Build and support a high-performing staff team, working closely with HR, compliance, finance, and regional management.
- Provide stability, structure, and a nurturing environment for the child
- Work collaboratively with local boroughs and sustain positive working relationships.
- Uphold high operational standards, ensuring the home is safe, warm, and supportive for both children and staff.
- Drive performance, occupancy, and quality improvements through effective leadership.
You won’t be doing this alone. The organisation provides a solid support framework including:

About You
We’re looking for someone who brings professional stability, strong leadership, and a kind, consistent personality to the role.
Requirements
- Experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy with 4+ years ready to step up.
- Level 5 in leadership and management within Children's - Desirable
- A solid track record with Ofsted
- Experience managing teams in children’s residential settings.
- Ability to maintain high standards
- Confidence in leading a home serving children with EBD or LD,
The role is commutable from
Hemel, Watford, Luton, Hertfordshire, Slough, Heathrow, Hillingdon
