Registered Manager - Ofsted Registered Children's Home
Location: Solihull
Salary: £45,000 - £55,500 per annum
Job Type: Full-time
Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for making a positive difference in young people's lives? Our client, a reputable care provider, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to oversee a 4-bed EBD children's home in Shirley.
What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.
  • Providing strong leadership and support to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Delivering high-quality, child-centred care tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the home's Ofsted rating through best practice.
  • Overseeing safeguarding, risk management, and care planning processes.
  • Collaborating with external agencies, families, and professionals to secure positive outcomes for young people.
  • Ensuring all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are met.
What you'll bring:
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children's residential care.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A genuine commitment to providing therapeutic, high-quality care for young people.
