This is an exciting opportunity to help onboarding new starters across the business and contribute towards making every moment matter for the people we support and our colleagues. Role:
Onboarding Lead Salary:
£28,000 per annum Location:
Central Support Office, Colchester Your Role Obtain copies of Right to Work (RTW) documents and Proofs of Address (POA) documents from applicants in line with government legislation. Ensure each applicant receives the best ‘candidate journey' they can through regular contact from Onboarding through to starting their role and thereafter. Assist and guide applicants in relation to what documentation they must provide and provide support towards online systems for DBS and reference checks. Provide accurate reporting and feedback on new starters and ensure their employment journey is tracked and feedback provided. Communicate regularly with applicants over the phone and by email, ensuring documents are received in a timely manner. Communicate regularly with Recruitment Team members and Service Managers on candidates in the process. Provide proactive support and cover in the absence of the Recruitment Business Partner to liaise with candidates and schedule in interviews where necessary. About You To be successful in this role, you will: Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal. Knowledge around Right to Work and DBS documents required in line with legislation Experience of pre-employment checks including DBS, references and RTW checks Experience of advising managers on pre-employment checks within multisite organisation Sound understanding of equal opportunities and diversity issues Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
