Based in West London and working closely with Proof Drinks, Quarter Proof is growing quickly in the UK on-trade, partnering with leading bars, restaurants, hotels, and hospitality groups to bring more mindful drinking choices to guests.


Role Description

The On-Trade Sales Executive is responsible for driving growth, visibility, and premium execution of Quarter Proof within the UK on-trade channel.

The role blends hands-on field sales, relationship management, and brand advocacy to deliver best-in-class listings, menus, and activations across key venues in your territory. This is a full-time, on-site role located in London.Key Responsibilities

  • Win new listings and grow rate of sale by targeting and converting priority accounts across bars, restaurants, hotels, members’ clubs, and wider on-trade venues.
  • Deliver compelling pitches that bring Quarter Proof’s story, values, and unique selling points to life for buyers, managers, and bar teams.
  • Ensure flawless in-venue execution, including menu presence, back-bar and fridge visibility, POS placement, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing and new on-trade partners, acting as their primary point of contact for all things Quarter Proof.
  • Monitor performance across your account base, using data and insight to identify opportunities to grow volume, rate of sale, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and deliver activations that drive trial, brand love, and repeat purchase in key venues.
  • Conduct regular venue visits to review performance, train teams, optimise serves, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead tastings, staff trainings, and sampling events, equipping bar teams with the knowledge and confidence to recommend Quarter Proof to guests.
  • Gather and share market intelligence on competitor activity, category trends, and customer feedback to inform commercial and marketing plans.
  • Support evening and weekend events or activations when required to maximise impact in high-potential accounts.


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience necessary
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive self-starter with a strong drive to deliver commercial results in a fast-paced, growing drinks business.
  • Experience in on-trade, field sales, or brand ambassador roles within drinks, hospitality, or consumer goods, with a clear understanding of UK bar and restaurant culture.
  • Confident, engaging communicator and presenter, able to build rapport quickly with venue owners, managers, and bar teams.
  • Passion for drinks, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences, with genuine enthusiasm for more mindful drinking options.
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills, comfortable managing a pipeline, territory, and multiple priorities at once.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with the Head of On-Trade, founders, and marketing team.
