Job Title: OpenShift Architect Location: Sheffield, UK (2-3 Days Onsite) Job Type: Contract Inside IR35 Role This is a hybrid architect/engineer role requiring deep, hands-on expertise across the OpenShift platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and embedding enterprise solutions and business processes on our new OpenShift platform. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to shape platform capabilities, enable application teams, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, architect, and implement enterprise-grade solutions on Red Hat OpenShift. Lead the development and rollout of business and technical processes on the OpenShift platform. Provide hands-on engineering support for platform build, configuration, and optimisation. Define platform standards, patterns, and best practices. Support application onboarding, containerisation, and migration to OpenShift. Design and implement CI/CD and GitOps pipelines. Implement security, governance, and compliance controls across the platform. Optimise platform performance, availability, and scalability.
