They are a leading prestigious brand within the security services / security solutions / manned guarding / mobile security / monitoring servicesindustry, they are ahead of the market with regards to creativity surrounding solution services and technology and have invested heavily in the business which has proved a successful strategy with excellent returns of growth and profitability. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for a region which is of upmost importance to the business. At present the business is performing exceptionally well operationally and therefore the organisation is keen to capitalise on this success and is looking for a commercially minded Regional Director who can focus on growth both in revenues and profitability whilst ensuring the continuity of service to current clients. The company are looking for an exceptional individual to manage the provision of security services to clients within the London region. The ideal candidate will ensure that specific contract and company targets are met or exceeded. You will be able to maintain excellent client relationships, support the Contract Managers who report into you, and support the Divisional Director when needed. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Management of: Contract Managers Duty Managers Diverse multi-site Portfolio including but not limited to. Commercial Offices,Critical National Infrastructure, Heritage, Data Centres, Industrial, Manufacturing, Retail Management of client portfolio (the clients expect a best-in-class service at all times) Supporting financial / commercial revies across all branches within the Security Guarding division. Be responsible for all operational colleagues and have a full understanding of the functions covered including
security guarding, electronic solutions such as CCTV & access control, key holding, post room, reception and general business support. Drive performance indicators within the relevant branch on: TrakTik Management Visits; EDOB; Portal KPIs; DM activity; Customer Portal compliance (Site Docs / Minutes etc); Open Posts etc. Liaise and meet with customers and key clients on a regular basis to review & record contract performance, agree budgets and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained, leading to contract retention. Particular note should be made of the Customer Charter guidelines. Networking within the CPA and CSSC to develop key partnership and information feeds to Clients and Site Base Teams; in conjunction with the Divisional Director. To be responsible for resources levels of contracted, ad-hoc and special events, including Commissionaires, as per customer requirements including, recruitment, signing off to the correct standards on screening and vetting of Colleagues. Driving Contract & Duty Managers and Central Support ensuring that sufficient and suitable staff are available. Through direct site visits and/or via the Contract/Duty Managers
via the companys T&A system, ensure the safety & well-being of both customer staff & colleagues are maintained including: Assignment Instructions maintained accurately and up to date
uploaded on to CMS Customer Portal. Welfare visits completed to schedule
Via Traktik Conduct Security Surveys and Audits in line with agreed schedule including arranging & managing penetration tests. Risk Assessments both Company & customer available and up to date
uploaded to the Customer Portal. Colleague sickness, holidays, absence & overtime are managed in accordance with Company policies and customer requirements, appropriately supported by HR department Managing the Annual Leave 28 Day rule within the Ops Team Structure; coupled with correctly supporting colleagues with Holiday Management Manage from start to finish various Employee Relations cases, with the support of HR department. Health & Safety & Quality policies are adhered to and any incidents or discrepancies fully investigated and/or suggested areas for improvement are reported. Ensure Branches are highlighting risks / liabilities / suspensions and are dealt with in a timely manner. All risks are to be communicated and mitigated / minimised. Drive regular checks via CMs / DMs that all Equipment and vehicles are checked as per manufacturers guidelines and the relevant reports are submitted
Link with Monthly Review meetings with DMs, minute and objective targeted for progress and Smart Task Visit Reviews. Ensure compliance of key contract information and customer files including but not restricted to those above and in line with the company quality policy, updating CMS and/or the Customer Portal accordingly. Ensure monthly meetings are planned with all clients and both KPI and meeting minutes are completed and saved in SharePoint. Where no meeting is held, meeting notes are completed, shared with the customer and uploaded to SharePoint and KPIs are self-scored and shared with client. Ensure Financial Analysis of Branch P&L takes place on a regular basis. Control variable costs in operational areas such as Training, Uniform, use of Subcontractor. Responsible for regular reviews of Annual Proposal (3 months in advance), Price Increase Variations
via strong command of Cost Models and generation of Cost Models. Regular review of the utilisation of Subcontractor, and mitigation measure to reduce / eradicate overall Subcontractor spend. Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning. Identify areas for additional business, from both current & potential customers, and provide ongoing support to the Business Development team to grow the business. Promote, identify and drive solutions-based services across the Branch(es). Where suitable, introduce innovative solutions to the client to help drive technology innovation within our contracts. Manage personal training and career development, attend training sessions as and when required, and actively seek out internal & external networking opportunities to keep updated of industry innovations and developments. Generate and maintain Account Development Plan Process retention strategies within their respective branches as instructed by Divisional Director Promote company driven innovation within the relevant branch. Conduct in-depth investigations and follow the Companys disciplinary, grievance, performance management policies with regards to employee relations matters to follow all Companys policies and procedures. Participate in Out of Hours/Duty Executive process as and when required Encourage enhancementof customer contracts to technology driven solutions to enhance the guarding service. To effectively manage operational capability of sites in your region, this role will be a strategic position though you should have a hands on approach, leading from the front. To ensure effective communication between all - staff, clients, site managers and supervisors , shift managers Management of a client portfolio Motivate and develop your team with a view to developing individuals through the business who are recognised as future managers of the business, leading from the front and ensuring a best-in-class service to client via a fully functioning operational team. ESSENTIAL QUALITIES: Experience within Manned Guarding / Security Solutions / Security Systems or Facilities Management / TFM / FM Services is highly advantageous though not essential. Experience of managing a P&L / budgetary responsibility. Experience leading a multi-site contract Commercial awareness Experience of operating budgets in excess of £16million Excellent presentation skills Proven experience of achieving consistent growth and efficiencieswithin your region / clients / accounts. Evidence of consistently motivating and managing teams. Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills Able to build outstanding client relationships Proven client relationship management You will have worked on a variety of demanding and detail orientated projects with demanding time frames for delivery on time.
