Operations Electrical Engineer - London, UK
Are you an engineering leader looking to influence how mission-critical electrical systems are operated across a global portfolio of high-availability facilities?
As the Operations Electrical Engineer, you will act as a senior technical authority - owning the frameworks, processes, and engineering direction that keep large-scale campuses running safely, efficiently, and without interruption.
Your responsibilities include:
Provide high-level technical guidance to site engineering teams spanning multiple countries.
Influence engineering standards and decision-making without direct line management.
Ensure electrical policies, procedures, and maintenance philosophies align with best practice and support long-term asset resilience.
Review and endorse electrical upgrades, maintenance strategies, and equipment proposals across all regions.
Lead and structure root-cause investigations following electrical incidents.
Use data, technical findings, and cross-site learnings to elevate global reliability performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting risk reduction and system resilience.
Champion electrical engineering best practice across the organisation - training, documentation, asset management, and operational readiness.
Evaluate and deploy energy-efficiency and power optimisation opportunities.
You'll need:
A qualification in an Engineering discipline.
Strong experience operating and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure.
Data Centre experience is a plus!
