Operations Manager & Executive Assistant to the CEO
Meet Health Events | in Office, Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £27,000 to £37,000 depending on experience
Meet Health Events is a fast-growing healthcare events company working at the heart of the UK healthcare system, bringing together senior leaders from the NHS, life sciences, policy, and technology to tackle the sector’s biggest challenges.
We are looking for an exceptional Operations Manager & Executive Assistant to the CEO to help us scale the business, deliver high-quality healthcare events, and support our CEO to operate at pace in a high-growth environment.

The Role
This is a hybrid role combining operations leadership, delivery coordination, and executive support. You will sit at the centre of the business, helping turn strategy into action and ensuring our events, internal projects, and leadership priorities are delivered to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operations & Delivery
Drive delivery of cross-functional initiatives across event operations, growth, research support, and internal projects .
Translate CEO and leadership priorities into clear plans, timelines, and execution .
Act as a central coordination point across teams and partners, keeping visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies.
Support planning and delivery of healthcare events that bring together senior decision-makers from across the sector.
Work closely with customers, account management and project management.
Executive Assistant Support to the CEO
Provide Executive Assistant support to the CEO (approximately one day per week, flexed as needed).
Manage diary, scheduling, and preparation for key meetings with healthcare leaders, speakers, sponsors, and partners.
Prepare agendas, briefing notes, and follow-up actions from leadership meetings.
Support travel planning, and ad-hoc executive requests.
Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Communication, Insight & Presentation
Produce high-quality materials including presentations, board packs, sponsor updates, and internal communications .
Create clear trackers, dashboards, and summaries to support leadership decision-making.
Support the creation of visually strong, well-structured content where clarity and design quality matter.
Who We’re Looking For
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Understands that great operations and executive support are strategic enablers .
Strong written communicator with the ability to create professional, polished presentations.
Confident working with data, structure, and detail and turning complexity into clarity.
Early to mid-career, ambitious, and excited by the opportunity to grow into senior operations or Chief of Staff–type roles .
Experience or strong interest in visual communication, presentation design, or graphic design is a plus.
A genuine interest in healthcare, technology or events, direct sector experience is not required.
