Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: Hybrid, involving at least two days per week in the office.

About this opportunity
The Banking Onboarding team is a key part of Banking Operations within Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) - COO. The team provides critical banking services to Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) and BCB clients.
As Operations Manager - Onboarding, you will lead a team of approximately 40 colleagues responsible for account and product onboarding for clients in BCB and CIB. You will focus on delivering an excellent client experience, leading through others, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for end-to-end onboarding and implementation of commercial banking products.
- Manage a broad change program including regulatory, digital, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize data to shape team priorities and improve client journeys.
- Interpret client feedback and risk management MI to enhance service quality.
- Organize and facilitate operational meetings, prepare supporting documents.
- Collaborate extensively with other teams across CIB and BCB.
- Work with platform teams to digitize processes, automate tasks, and introduce new tools.
Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of banking operations and operational excellence.
- Strong relationship-building skills across diverse groups.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective prioritization and workload management.
- Resilience and persistence to deliver high-quality results.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of corporate banking products, onboarding, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FATCA/CRS).
- Experience in managing complex change projects.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
