Company Description\n\nIPS (Part of the Culina Group) works with some of the best known brands and provides cost effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions within the UK.\n\nAt Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive… A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired!\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Operations Manager will manage and facilitate improvements in Health and Safety, Operational Performance, Technical Compliance and Environmental Standards alongside acting as a deputy for the General Manager.\n\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.\n\nKey Duties of Operations Manager:\n\n * Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations.\n\n * Provide a service based on Reliability, Quality and Repeatability, which is both measurable and auditable.\n\n * Liaise with all factory functions to support and resolve operational day to day issues and plan to prevent re-occurrence and deliver a sustainable operation.\n\n * Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.\n\n * Ensure best practise is developed and used, constantly seeking improvements to layout, efficiency and stock integrity.\n\n * Identify and mentor the FLM's and Key Players of the future. Create strength in depth through the development of the teams.
