Operations Manager – Healthcare

A leading facilities services provider is seeking an electrically‑biased Operations Manager to lead a lighting lifecycle programme and manage emergency lighting remedials across a large healthcare estate.

This role requires proven hospital electrical experience , the ability to work autonomously , and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a multi‑year lighting lifecycle strategy , including design coordination and manufacturer liaison.

Produce technical reports, condition surveys, and lifecycle plans .

Manage all emergency lighting remedials and oversee reactive and planned electrical maintenance.

Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners to clear backlogs and replace failed assets.

Ensure full compliance with statutory and healthcare electrical standards .

Act as a senior technical point of contact for internal teams and client stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

Strong electrical background (degree or equivalent in Electrical / Building Services).

Hospital or healthcare FM experience (non‑negotiable).

Proven experience in electrical operations or technical management .

Strong subcontractor and supply chain management capability.

Excellent senior‑level communication and influencing skills.

Ability to manage workload independently.

DBS clearance (or eligibility).
