Operations Manager\n\nInfrastructure & Transmission Services Sector \n\n£70,000 - £100,000 + Bonus Scheme + Shares + Benefits + Package\n\nLeeds, West Yorkshire\n\nPlease note: This role is being treated with high confidentiality. \n\nThis company's transmissions Services Division plays a key role in supporting the UK's energy infrastructure, focusing on the maintenance and painting of high-voltage pylons and associated assets.\n\nThey are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead and grow the Transmission Services Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational and commercial performance of the business unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality services to clients while driving profitability and aligning with the strategic goals of the Group.\n\nThis leadership role requires an individual with deep industry knowledge, commercial acumen and a strong track record in managing overhead infrastructure projects.
The role demands hands-on management of teams, projects and client relationships, ensuring compliance, safety and performance across all functions.\n\nThe Role\n\nLeadership & Management\n\nLead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team and field operatives\nFoster a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement\nSet clear expectations, objectives and performance metrics for the division\nAbility to lead a division with autonomy, responsibility and a clear path to growthStrategic & Financial Oversight\n\nDevelop and deliver divisional business plans in line with company strategy.\nOwn and manage the division's profit and loss account, ensuring revenue growth and cost control.\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the transmissions and critical infrastructure sectors.Operational Delivery\n\nOversee the planning, execution, and completion of maintenance and painting contracts on high-voltage pylons and related infrastructure.\nEnsure all works meet client specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements\nEnsure strong project and resource planning to deliver on time and within budget.Client and Stakeholder Engagement\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including DNO's, Grid and principal contractors.\nAct as the main point of contract for major clients and partners regarding divisional performance and delivery.\nRepresent the Group in industry forums and networking opportunities.Compliance & Safety\n\nEnsure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation, industry standards, and company procedures.\nPromote a proactive safety culture and lead investigations into incidents and near misses where necessary
