A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operations Manager totake charge of the day-to-day running of our client sites in Hereford and Telford , overseeing production, machine operatives, and production staff. Your focus will be on ensuring efficient workflows , meeting production targets, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving ongoing improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all operational activities across both sites Oversee production planning and job scheduling Ensure efficient machine and resource utilisation Maintain high levels of product quality through inspections and process control Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives Provide leadership, coaching, and development for production teams Manage HR matters including staffing, training, and performance reviews Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations Monitor machine maintenance schedules and production downtime Support other departments and operational needs as required Oversee site services (pest control, fire safety, waste management, etc .)
