WE ARE RECRUITING AN EXPERIENCED OPERATIONS MANAGER TO RUN A BUSY WASTE RECYCLING SITE.

TITLE: Operations Manager Waste Management SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + Pension LOCATION: Abingdon, South Oxford and surrounding area PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Waste Operations Supervisor, MBT Shift Manager, Transfer Station Manager, Recycling Operations Manager, Waste Site Manager, MRF Manager, Skip Hire General Manager, Recycling Production Manager YOUR SITE MAY HAVE PROCESSED OR WORKED IN: Biomass, Wood Waste, Scrap Metal, Waste Plastics, Construction Waste, Demolition Waste, Open Windrow Composting, Landfill, Recycled Aggregates, In-Vessel Composting, Anaerobic Digestion, Dry Mixed Recycling, Clinical Waste, MBT, MRF, Transfer Station, Green Waste ROLE: Operations Manager Waste ManagementYou will take full operational responsibility for the intake, processing, recovery, and outbound logistics of materials such as hardcore, concrete, soils, wood, metals, and mixed skip waste, ensuring maximum recovery and recycling performance.Ensure equipment is maintainedEnsure Environmental, H&S and Quality complianceManage a team of production staff EXPERIENCE: Operations Manager Waste Management QUALIFICATIONS:COTC / WAMITAB Level 4 (essential or working towards)NEBOSH or IOSH (highly desirable)Full UK Driving Licence You will have supervised or managed a waste processing xehkeey site e.g. Biomass, Wood Waste, Scrap Metal, Waste Plastics, Construction Waste, Demolition Waste, Open Windrow Composting, Landfill, Recycled Aggregates, In-Vessel Composting, Anaerobic Digestion, Dry Mixed Recycling, Clinical Waste, MBT, MRF, Transfer Station, Green Waste PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Waste Operations Supervisor, MBT Shift Manager, Transfer Station Manager, Recycling Operations Manager, Waste Site Manager, MRF Manager, Skip Hire General Manager, Recycling Production Manager
