Operations Manager (Tool Hire/Rentals)

£48,000 - £53,000 + Bonus + Private Healthcare + 33 Days Holiday + Additional Company Benefits

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Livingston, Bathgate, Airdrie, Edinburgh, Falkirk, West Calder. Other locations also considered.

Do you have previous experience in the tool/power equipment rentals industry or similar and looking for a position where you will work autonomously to grow and establish a new arm for an established existing business?

In this role you will develop the new offering within a company who are passionate about employee investment and their excellent benefits package.

This is an exciting opportunity to launch a new tools/power rental division within an already globally established and extremely successful business as the company to expand across Europe.

This role would suit someone with management experience in a hire/rental based environment looking for a long term permanent position where you will work to grow and establish a new arm for the business.

The Role:

• In this role you will develop and establish a new tools rental arm for an existing and well established global rentals company
• Further duties of the role will include but not limited to; management, development, overseeing cost and repairs management of equipment, recruitment of staff, continuous improvement, lean and much more.
• Based out of their site just outside of Edinburgh
• Monday – Friday 7:30-4:30pm

The Person:

• Previous experience in a similar level management focused role
• Previous experience in the hire/rental of one or more of the following; Tools, Power equipment such as generators, pumps, compressors, welding equipment, or similar.
