Now one of the largest independent players in high-end luxury fragrance globally, our client has achieved exceptional performance over the last few years and has further ambitions to double in size over the next three years.
About the Role
KJ Talent & Partners is working exclusively to hire an Operations Product Development Manager to join our client’s incredibly talented London-based global team, which is at the heart of the business. With the support of your peers you take the challenge to deliver consistently and reduce the development lead times, mitigate the risks, build into the initial time plan, as well as ensuring cost of goods, quality and service requirements are achieved.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with our Global Marketing Team of new product briefs, to ensure design-to cost, profitability, sustainability and innovation
Collaborate with cross functional partners throughout the NPD launch cycle
Manage product launches, projects development, and project management activities to assure timeline and cost-effective new product launches
Prepare and monitor Feasibility Costs, Cost Of Good & Gross Margin Analysis, in connection with Finance (Procurement, Cost Control and Financial Management) for your projects
Anticipate, assess and manage risks related to timing, quality, and cost of NPD projects
Optimize launch process, tools and procedures
Custodian of the Stage Gate process
About you
More than 4 years of project management experience with responsibility for launching global products, involving cross-functional working with operations teams
Experience in developing products and packaging within the beauty industry (ideally in perfume, skincare, or make-up), especially for luxury markets
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international project context with strong relationship management and influencing skills
Creative and innovative mindset
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in French highly desirable
