Operations Team Leader - Change & DevelopmentWorking Hours:37.5Location:Leeds (Hybrid 2 Days Office, 3 Remote)At Medical Protection Society, our purpose is tosupport and protect medical professionalswhen they need us the most.Our Business Services & Governance team plays a vital role in ensuring our member-facing services are efficient, compliant and continuously improving, enablinghigh-quality,member-focusedservices across the globe.The OpportunityWe are looking for anOperations Team Leader Change & Developmentto lead the delivery ofhigh-qualityoperational learning and change implementation across our global operations.This role sits at the heart ofoperations effectiveness.You will lead a small specialist team, work closely with senior operational leaders and transformation partners, and ensure that change is implemented smoothly, safely and with minimal disruption to member services.If you are passionate aboutpeople leadership, continuous improvement and embedding change through effective learning and communication, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.As OperationsTeamLeader,youll:Lead a team responsible for operational learning, induction and change implementationOwn delivery of annual training and development plansManage theday-to-dayrelationship with transformation partners to shape annual andlonger-termchange plans for OperationsFacilitate continuous improvement planning with Operations leadershipEnsure change is supported by effective learning and communication plansOwn and maintain Member Service induction and technical training contentUse insight and feedback to improve training effectiveness and operational capabilityChampion amember-centricmindset across all L&D and communication activityPromote strong risk awareness, governance and compliance within all change activityWhatwerelooking forYoull be an experienced operational leader who combinesstrong people management capability with a practical,delivery-focusedapproach to change and learning.Youllbring:Proven experience leading and developinghigh-performingteamsSolid experience in learning and development planning and deliveryA strong understanding of change management approaches and methodologiesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levelsExperience using performance data and insight to drive improvement initiativesConfidence working in regulated environments with audit and governance requirementsIt would be great(but not essential)if you also have:A professional qualification in Learning & DevelopmentExperience of lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologiesKnowledge of medical defence, insurance or a similar regulated service environmentWhy join MPS?At MPS, youll be part of apurpose-drivenorganisation where your work directly supports healthcare professionals worldwide.
