On behalf of PwC, we are looking for an Oracle Report Developer for a 6 Months contract based in Rochester.
Join us as an Oracle Report Developer.
As Oracle Report Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimising reports using appropriate reporting tools. The role supports business operations by delivering accurate, timely, and well-structured data outputs from Oracle databases and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and usability.
What you'll do:
Design, develop, and maintain reports primarily using Oracle BI Publisher and, where required, Oracle SmartView, FRC, OTBI, and related tools.
Develop complex data models and report layouts aligned to business requirements.
Write and optimise SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages for reporting purposes.
Ensure report accuracy, data consistency, and alignment with defined business rules.
Tune report performance and optimise database queries.
Ensure efficient data retrieval and processing for large datasets.
Support report deployment across development, test, and production environments.
Participate in unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production cutover activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve report-related issues and defects.
Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and maintenance for existing reports.
Collaborate with functional teams, DBAs, and application developers.
The skills you'll need:
Experience with Oracle BI Publisher and related Oracle reporting tools (Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL)
Knowledge of Oracle ERP database architecture and table structures.
Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud deployments.
Exposure to ETL tools or reporting automation tools.
Experience with Oracle APEX, Fusion Analytics, or similar platforms.
Experience working within Agile or ITIL environments.
