Outsourcing Business Partner | London Market Insurance

I’m working with a London Markets Insurer looking to hire an Outsourcing Business Partner to join their expanding Outsource Delivery function. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and supplier consolidation across Data, Applications Development and Managed Services.

This is an interim role until Dec 2026.

Responsibilities:

You’ll act as the day-to-day interface between internal business functions and outsourced service providers and provide real-time analysis and decision support on outsourced services:

• Own issue resolution and change requirements
• Interpret SLA/KPI performance and proactively flag risks
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners

You’ll also take ownership of the commercial and contractual mechanics behind managed service providers which will include:

• Strong understanding of Statements of Work and Change Requests
• Standardising and overseeing change governance
• Managing billing, invoicing and spend vs budget
• Coordinating SLA/KPI oversight and audit processes
• Supporting operational governance (monthly reviews, access control, JML tracking)

Skills Required:

• Financial Services experience (Insurance preferred)
• Experience working with outsourced/shared service delivery models with strong exposure to managed services and contract governance
• Strong financial and analytical capability (advanced Excel-level modelling)
• Comfortable managing multiple suppliers while supporting change initiatives
