Overhead Crane Operative

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an Overhead Crane Operator/Labourer to support a local business and their rapid expansion plans. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a temporary basis initially, but there is the potential that the role may become permanent after a qualifying period.

The role includes:
Loading and unloading vehicles
Pre-picking steel plate ready for production
Move produced parts to dispatch and prepare for dispatch using remote controlled overhead cranes
Working to tight deadlines
The candidate:
Overhead Crane experience
FLT experience required - can be in-house trained
The right candidate will have the opportunity to skill up and move into profile operating roles
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 07:00am to 16:30pm
Friday 06:00am to 13:30pm
Pay Rate:
£12.21 per hour
