Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, is currently seeking a Security Cleared Planner to join their team in Derby. This role is available on a permanent or contract basis and involves working on a diverse portfolio of projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nFull build and management of schedules, ensuring effective interfaces and stakeholder engagement\nMaintenance and management of baselines to support contractual and performance metrics\nConducting meetings and workshops to challenge project progress and performance\nSupporting Planning/Project Controls Managers in maintaining schedules and their interfaces\nManaging contract requirements related to schedules\nProviding advanced hierarchical reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management (EVM)\nIntegration of function correlating schedule, cost, and risk\nCritical path evaluation and scenario planning to mitigate issues and improve efficiencies\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience with multiple large projects\nExperience in contract management (NEC, Defence, Nuclear)\nDemonstrable experience within regulated environments (MOD/Nuclear/Ports)\nStrong stakeholder management skills\nAdvanced reporting techniques\nIntegrated multi-discipline project controls skillset\nProfessional memberships or accreditations\nStrong business awareness\nProactive approach to planning innovation\nStrong experience in planning fundamentals\nProficiency in P6/Asta/MSP\nExperience in PMO, programme/portfolio structures\nCost/resource loading experience\nEVM experience\nCritical path analysis expertise\nTender experience\nMentorship/leadership experience\nStrong risk management experience, including QSRA\nExpertise in schedule checks and assurance measures\nIf you are an experienced Planner looking for a new opportunity to further develop your career, we would love to hear from you.
