Packaging Machine Operator

The work will involve:
Setting and Operating a Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine (VFFS)
Regular Quality Checks on Weight, Presentation, Seals and batch coding
Reporting any Defects or Machine issues
Palletizing, Labelling and storing of finished goods
Stock Control
Machine Maintenance and Housekeeping
Recording materials used and waste
The working times and pay:
Monday to Friday
08:30-16:30
40 Hours per week
Breaks Paid
£13.45 p/h
Permanent position
Various Benefits when perm including Additional Holidays and Further Training
Skills & Experience Needed:
Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine (VFFS) experience desirable
Packaging Machine experience essential
Candidates need to be physically fit for regular manual handling and heavy lifting
Ability to follow job sheets
Quality checking experience
Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills needed for recording materials and waste
