Packing Operative

Location: Shipley Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting a Packing Operative to join a busy and well?established manufacturing site in Shipley. This is a long?term opportunity with the view to securing a permanent contract for the right candidate. This role offers full training, stable Monday-Friday hours, and the chance to join a friendly and supportive team within a well?organised production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operating packaging machinery in line with production schedules Monitoring product quality and reporting any faults or deviations Packing finished products and ensuring correct labelling Completing basic production and quality documentation Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or machine operative role is desirable, but not essential Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality Comfortable working as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop within the role
