Our engineering clients based closed to Havant have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Shop Supervisor to join their growing team.
This role involves leading and taking ownership of the paint shop, ensuring high-quality powder coating and wet spray finishes are delivered on time, to specification and to company standards. It is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical skill with the drive to improve processes, develop the team and make the paint shop a centre of excellence.
Previous supervisory or senior operator experience in a manufacturing setting is essential, as is experience in powder coating and wet spraying to a high industrial standard.
Core responsibilities: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the paint shop, making decisions to keep production on track. Plan and allocate workloads to meet production schedules and priorities. Train, coach and mentor paint shop team members to develop skills and flexibility. Carry out powder coating and wet spraying to a high industrial standard. Operate and maintain paint shop equipment, including spray guns, booths and ovens.
