Painter and Decorator – Estate Maintenance – Up to £30,000

Our prestigious client is currently seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join their expanding Estate Management team. This Painter and Decorator role sits within the Property Team and plays an important part in maintaining the overall appearance, condition and long-term upkeep of the estate.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional Painter and Decorator who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and enjoys working on a variety of projects. The successful Painter and Decorator will be responsible for both planned and reactive decoration tasks across the estate, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

Working both independently and as part of a team, this Painter and Decorator position requires excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach and the ability to deliver work to a consistently high standard.

The role offers a salary of up to £30,000, with additional overtime available and a discretionary bonus.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
Occasional weekend work will be required during certain periods of the year.

Key Responsibilities – Painter and Decorator

*

Support the P&D Team Leader with Health & Safety standards within the Painting and Decorating team

*

Assist with raising purchase orders against painting and decorating budget lines and report any potential overspend to the Facilities Manager

*

Carry out painting and decorating works across the estate in line with operational procedures and quality standards

*

Conduct regular inspections of estate areas, identifying defects and completing repairs within required deadlines

*

Complete both planned and reactive decoration tasks across a variety of buildings and facilities

*

Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail on all projects

*

Support general estate maintenance activities when required

*

Undertake additional tasks as requested by the management team

Skills & Experience Required

*

Proven experience working as a Painter and Decorator, ideally within a large estate, commercial environment or large organisation

*

Relevant painting and decorating qualifications or trade background

*

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing workloads effectively

*

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes

*

Flexible and proactive approach to work

*

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

*

Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
