JOB OPPORTUNITY: Painter & Decorator - Tunbridge Wells
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Decorator for a two-week contract in Tunbridge Wells. This project requires a high-standard finish and a professional approach to interior decoration.
Start Date: Monday 27th April 2026
Duration: 2 Weeks (Temporary)

Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full decorating cycle, ensuring a flawless end product. Duties include:
Full Preparation: Detailed surface prep including filling holes with spackle, sanding surfaces to a smooth finish, and precise taping/masking of all edges.
Priming & Mist Coating: Correct application of "mist coats" on new plaster to ensure proper adhesion for final layers.
Cutting In: Expert brushwork for sharp lines around corners, ceilings, and baseboards.
Rolling: Consistent application of two coats of emulsion for a uniform, professional finish.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
CSCS Card: Valid Blue (Skilled) or Green card.
Tools: Own professional-grade painting and decorating tools.
PPE: Full personal protective equipment (Hard hat, high-vis, boots).
Right to Work: Must have valid documentation for the UK.
