Duties and responsibilities related to the Painter & Decorator role 

• Complete painting and decorating projects with precision and attention to detail, maintaining high standards of quality

• Carry out regular maintenance and touch-up work to ensure the hotel’s interior and exterior surfaces remain in excellent condition

• Coordinate with departments such as Front Office and Housekeeping to schedule projects with minimal disruption to operations and guest experience

• Maintain an organised inventory of paints, tools, and equipment, coordinating with Purchasing to reorder supplies as required

• Follow all safety regulations when working with paints, chemicals, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to maintain a safe working environment

About you

You have proven expertise in painting and decorating techniques, with a good understanding of general maintenance. Detail-oriented, professional, and reliable, you are able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team. With a focus on safety and consistently high standards of work, you take pride in maintaining an immaculate environment for colleagues and guests.
