Panel Wireman -Worcester

£30,000 £32,000 basic salary

25 days holiday, plus banks, Bonus, Overtime, pension, death in service

About the Company

We are a well-established industrial automation OEM specialising in the design and manufacture of powder dosing and filling equipment. Our capital equipment machinery is supplied to large blue-chip organisations across the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Panel Wireman to join our team in Worcester.

The Role

Working as part of a small, skilled team of two, you will be responsible for the build and wiring of electrical control panels for bespoke industrial automation machinery.

This is a hands-on role involving single and three-phase systems, supporting the manufacture of high-value capital equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Wiring control panels to detailed specifications
  • Building and assembling electrical components within panels
  • Working with single and three-phase electrical systems
  • Supporting machine build and integration where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • Previous panel wiring experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working on capital equipment or industrial automation machinery preferred
  • Ability to confidently read electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Relevant electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Experience with EPLAN (desirable but not essential)

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am 12:00pm

Salary & Benefits

  • £30,000 £32,000 salary (dependent on experience)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension (5% employer / 3% employee)
  • Death in Service benefit
  • Performance Related Pay (Christmas bonus)
  • Overtime available (approx. 8 hours per week, optional)
