My client a well established control panel manufacturer are currently seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with relevant specifications and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from schematic diagramsReading and interpreting electrical drawings and layoutsInstalling components such as relays, PLCs, and circuit breakersConducting testing and fault-finding on completed panelsEnsuring all work meets quality and safety standardsWorking closely with engineers and production teamsRequirements:Proven experience as a Panel Wireman or similar roleAbility to read and understand electrical schematicsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipKnowledge of electrical standards and regulationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable Skills:Experience with PLC wiringRelevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds)Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsBenefitsCompetitive salaryOvertime opportunitiesPension schemeTraining and development opportunitiesHours of work 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, 29 days holiday pa.JBRP1_UKTJ
