Are you an experienced Paralegal looking for a rewarding role within local government? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Housing Repairs Team, providing vital legal support to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support on housing repair matters, including disrepair claims and related tenancy issues. Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and case files. Liaise with internal teams, external solicitors, and stakeholders to progress cases effectively. Assist in preparing cases for court hearings and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies. Maintain accurate records and manage caseloads within agreed timescales.
Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within housing law or property-related matters. Strong understanding of housing legislation and disrepair claims. Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and work to deadlines. Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
