Paralegal - Legal & Compliance Administrator – In House Vacancy

Location: Liverpool – Hybrid Working

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: c.£35,000 + benefits

Level: Paralegal/ Law Graduate



About the Role

LHH is seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal & Compliance Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Legal and Data Protection Manager and the wider Legal & Compliance function.

In this pivotal role, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of legal, contractual, compliance and data protection activities across the organisation. Your work will directly support the organisation in meeting its statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative and Coordination Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Legal & Compliance Manager, Legal & Data Protection Manager and wider legal function.
  • Support the scheduling, coordination, and documentation of meetings, including drafting agendas and taking minutes.
  • Assist with document version control, policy update cycles, and review timetables.

Data Protection Activities

  • Support the management of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), including logging requests, coordinating searches and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining data protection documentation (policies, registers, templates).

Legal & Contract Administration

  • Maintain legal records and contract registers, ensuring all documentation is accurately stored and easily retrievable.
  • Support contract administration activities such as tracking key dates, renewals, and variations.
  • Assist with the collation of information for legal advice, compliance reporting, audits, and governance activity.

Research & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Undertake legal and compliance research to support informed decision‑making.
  • Liaise professionally with internal stakeholders and external parties under direction from the Legal & Data Protection Manager.


About You

We’re looking for someone who can bring professionalism, initiative, and strong organisational skills to the team.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Legal qualification and experience as a paralegal preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Confident IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to take responsibility and use initiative.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a flexible manner.
