With no two days being the same, the requirements and demands of the legal team are varied and challenging, looking at the legal needs of the management team, development, entertainment and the venue teams.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a proactive and confident Paralegal reporting to Legal Counsel. You will need to be used to working in a fast paced, environment and work with the legal team whilst aligning with the Broadwick culture and strategy.
You will need to be extremely organised and have great communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative manner.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Commercial Contracts
The primary function of the role is to support the legal team across its entertainment, development, production and real estate business and across a wide range of commercial and legal matters as follows:
- Venue hire agreements.
- Artist performance contracts.
- Supplier contracts.
- Standard terms and conditions.
- Company secretarial.
- Implementation of legal processes and protocols including creating legal precedents and knowledge bank.
- Carrying out ad hoc duties when required.
You’ll need to have:
- A law degree, with the LPC or SQE being desirable.
- Minimum of 12-18 months prior paralegal experience supporting commercial matters.
- Practical commercial approach essential, ability to work to tight deadlines and turn work around matters quickly.
- A thorough approach to work, cope with a varied workload and be organised.
- High efficiency and able to work with a high level of independence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently with the business.
- Approachable with a flexible and positive attitude to work.
