Salary:

£26,000 pa to £27,000 pa (pro rated) plus generous benefits

Permanent Part-Time (minimum commitment of 3 days per week; up to 4 days considered based on candidate’s needs)


Location:

Hybrid working arrangement: Staff are generally expected to attend the central London office at least once a week, though some flexibility is offered based on business needs. We welcome discussions to accommodate individual circumstances.

Who We Are Looking For:

Registry Trust is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operation Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working a minimum of 3 days per week with the possibility of up to 4 days, depending on the candidate’s preference. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an expectation of attending the office one day per week, though we welcome discussions to accommodate individual circumstances and offer flexibility where possible.


This position is ideal for someone who values flexibility, thrives working independently, and is committed to maintaining high data quality while delivering excellent customer service. We are looking for a candidate who is organised, patient, and possesses strong IT skills to confidently manage data and administrative tasks.


The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and a collaborative team player capable of balancing multiple responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Processing and verifying judgment data accurately and ensuring timely updates to credit reference agencies.
  • Reviewing documentary evidence related to amendments or removals of judgments from jurisdictions outside England and Wales.
  • Managing administrative tasks including handling incoming/outgoing post, DX mail, and supporting remote colleagues when working in the office.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to meet service standards and support evolving organisational needs.
  • Providing professional, patient, and empathetic support to members of the public, court staff, and data purchasers via phone, email, and letter.


Who You Are:

  • Strong in Microsoft Word, Excel, and added bonus if they are comfortable working with bespoke database systems.
  • Detail-focused with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
  • Organised and self-motivated, able to manage your workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • An excellent communicator, able to convey information clearly and inclusively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptable, willing to learn, and keen to contribute positively to the team and organisation.
  • Experienced in customer service, especially skilled at handling sensitive or challenging interactions calmly and constructively.
