An exceptional SEN school in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Science Teacher with a specialist in Physics and Chemistry to join their team from September 2026 on a 1-year long-term placement.

The Role

As a Part-Time Science Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging KS3 & KS4 Science, specialising in Physics and Chemistry Adapt and differentiate learning for students with ASD and complex needs Work closely with experienced TAs to support engagement and progress Deliver practical, accessible and hands-on Science lessons Support both academic progress and social-emotional development Contribute to a calm, structured and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Strong subject knowledge in Physics and/or Chemistry Experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4 (SEN experience highly desirable) A calm, patient and adaptable teaching style Confidence supporting learners with ASD and additional needs A passion for inclusive education and making Science accessible to all learners
