Job Title: PART TIME TRADE SALES ASSISTANT - TRADE COUNTER

Location: Lewisham

Hours: 2-3 Days per week - Hours Negotiable

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Trade Sales Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge of plumbing and general building supplies, with a strong ability to provide excellent service to trade and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting products, offering expert advice on plumbing and building materials.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure the trade counter is well-presented.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Support the team with general store duties, including inventory checks and merchandising.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a trade sales environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of plumbing and general building supplies is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills for processing orders and managing stock.
