School Partnerships Manager

Permanent

Social Impact

London (hybrid, 2 days/week in SE1)

£35–37k + bonus scheme

April 2026 start

Are you someone who loves working with schools and young people — and wants to use that experience in a role with real variety, clear progression, and serious social impact?

Our client is an award-winning social mobility organisation that works with some of the UK's largest employers to connect underrepresented young people aged 11–24 with career opportunities. Last year they supported over 40,000 people to take their next career step. They're growing fast, and they need someone brilliant to help them do it.

What you'll be doing:

This role exists to own something really important: getting the right young people onto the right programmes. You'll be the internal expert on schools engagement and student outreach, working across multiple employer-led programmes simultaneously.

That means building and nurturing relationships with schools across the UK — including in regions where they have no existing presence — running email marketing campaigns, managing a monthly educator newsletter, leading a Teacher Advisory Board, and owning the end-to-end student journey from first contact through to programme day.

You won't be the main client face day-to-day, but you will be the go-to voice internally on everything schools and young people — and there's every opportunity to grow that external presence over time.

During peak seasons you'll also get stuck in with on-the-ground event delivery — the whole team does, and it's one of the best parts of the job.

What they're looking for:

  • Experience working in a schools-facing or education/employability role — you know how schools work and you're confident engaging with them
  • A proven track record of growing relationships with schools or similar partners — you've got a story to tell here
  • Excellent communication skills — confident on the phone, strong in writing, and able to engage a wide range of audiences
  • Someone who genuinely thrives juggling multiple projects and deadlines, and can evidence how they manage that
  • Comfortable working to targets — you find satisfaction in hitting them, not stress
  • Tenacious and creative when it comes to outreach, especially in new or unfamiliar territories
  • Energised by a fast-paced, commercial environment — this is important

It would be a bonus if you have experience with email marketing platforms, newsletter management, or working with young people in an employability context — but these aren't dealbreakers.

What's on offer:

  • £35,000–£37,000 salary
  • Bonus scheme (post-probation, based on programme performance)
  • Group life insurance
  • Wellbeing app and wellbeing allowance
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Company share options
  • Reduced Friday hours year-round
  • Flexible working
  • Christmas and Summer team parties
  • A genuine, supported progression path — this role is built to grow

A note on progression: Our client is very deliberate about development. They want someone who comes in, builds their expertise, and grows — whether that's into a senior version of this role or across into other parts of the business. If you're looking for somewhere that will invest in you, this is it.

Our client is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive team. They welcome applications from all backgrounds.
