Part-time Client Accountant

We're working on the behalf of a small, friendly firm of Accountants based in Portsmouth who are looking for an extra pair of hands. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Preparation of year end accounts from Trial Balance for a varied portfolio of sole traders and limited companies
Undertaking tax returns for clients and undertaking all associated duties
Reviewing bookkeeping entries
Answering client queries
The company are looking for someone to work on a remote basis for circa 10 hours per week. They can be flexible about how these are spread. While the role is remote, you will be required to meet face to face for quarterly meetings with the Director, so we do ask that you are based relatively nearby, e.g. Hampshire, West Sussex, etc
You will need previous experience in preparing year end accounts within an accountancy practice environment. Ideally, you will be Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA but the firm can consider those qualified by experience.
