Cover Supervisor – Rotherham

Location: Rotherham Contract: Part-time / Flexible Start Date: ASAP Salary: £100–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

PK Education are working with a number of secondary schools in Rotherham who are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support on a flexible, part-time basis. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are looking for work that fits around other commitments, whether that be studies, family, or other roles.

You have full flexibility in this role — you can choose the days you want to work and how many days per week suits you. Whether you're looking for 1 day a week or 5, we can tailor work to fit your availability.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering pre-set work provided by teaching staff. Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Supporting students to stay engaged with their learning. Building positive relationships with pupils and staff. Providing feedback to teaching staff on student behaviour and progress.
