* Bristol - BS15 * 4 FTE | 2 days per week (flexible - Working days can be discussed at interview) * £135 - £250 per day - competitive rates reflecting your expertise.
About the Part-Time SEN Maths Teacher
* Deliver the Maths curriculum in small group or 1:1 settings for students with cognition and learning needs. * Teach GCSE content to students unable to access mainstream classes due to SEMH or emotionally-based school avoidance. * Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that empowers every student to thrive. * Work with a dedicated team to reintegrate students into mainstream education where possible.
Requirements
* A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent in Mathematics) * Prior experience teaching Maths to KS3 or KS4 pupils. * Can tailor lessons to support SEND and SEMH students effectively. * Excellent classroom management and the ability to maintain a positive learning atmosphere * Clear communication skills and a passion for making maths accessible and enjoyable * Previous experience working within UK secondary schools
