Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2 | Creative & Therapeutic SEND School | Southwark | Start ASAP Are you a creative, compassionate, and patient individual who loves working with children with additional needs? A wonderful SEND school in Southwark is seeking a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their caring and dynamic team, starting as soon as possible. About the Role You'll be supporting KS2 pupils with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment. The role is 2-3 days per week, and is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on, creative, and child-centred work. Day-to-day, you'll: Support pupils in class and during creative learning activities Use art, music, play, and sensory approaches to help children express themselves and build confidence Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and wellbeing support Encourage communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation through engaging, meaningful experiences This is a role where creativity and empathy go hand-in-hand - ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact in a supportive, therapeutic setting.
