Academics are recruiting on behalf of an 'Outstanding' Primary SEN School in Southampton who are looking to appoint 3 compassionate part-time Special School Assistant's to join them after Easter. Working hours are 10.45am-3.15pm, Monday-Friday during term-time.
If you are looking for a permanent position and get on well, they will look to take you on a temp to perm contract so please only apply if you are ultimately looking for a permanent position.
To be considered for this position you MUST have GCSE C or above in English and Maths, or level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths.
If you are interested in the position but would prefer full-time hours/30 hours per week the hours would be Mon - Fri 8.45am-3.15pm.
They are looking for hardworking and resilient part-time Special School Assistant's who is able to build positive relationships with young people. The school caters for pupils aged 4-11 with complex learning difficulties including autism, speech and language disorders and challenging behaviours. All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
