Are you already in a teaching assistant role and looking for a change of scenery? We are looking for aspiring or experienced teaching assistants to join our partnership schools in Cardiff! We are looking for teaching assistants to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year, who is fluent or able to communicate in Pashto. This role will involve supporting two students in additional needs who speak first language Pashto, providing classroom and personal care to both students. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Include: Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons Preparing and utilising resources around the classroom for each lesson Using your own initiative Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children Providing 1 to 1 support We are looking for Teaching Assistants who: Can remain calm, confident and engaging Have an interest in a multitude of subjects Can build a good rapport with pupils Have empathetic and nurturing characteristics Desirable, (but not essential): Experience working with children An Enhanced DBS Certificate Why choose Team Educate?
