We're working with secondary schools in Northampton seeking a caring, proactive Pastoral Lead to join their teams from September 2025. This full-time, long-term role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to support students' personal development, emotional wellbeing, and overall school experience. What the job involves: Leading on pastoral care for students across the school
Supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties
Working closely with students one-to-one or in small groups to build trust and resilience
Supporting the development of positive behaviour and promoting a safe, inclusive environment
Monitoring student welfare and working with staff to develop support plans
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
Helping to create a positive school culture where every student feels seen and supported
